Yes, just got wind of one of Harpercrite's latest affronts on Gaia, privatization of a portion of one of Canada's National Treasures, the nearly pristine JASPER NATIONAL PARK two hundred kilometers or so north of Banff National Park on the eastern side of our infamous formidable "Rockies" between Alberta and British Columbia in western CANADA.

Many blessings to the Jasper Adventure Centre for image of Jasper linked above. Click and Visit their homepage to see more of Jasper and beyond.

In days, the Harper Government could privatize a section of Jasper National Park and let an American-owned company blast a 300m metal walkway into our World Heritage mountains -- but Jasper's Superintendent has the power to stop them.

The plan would not only spur development, but would give an American company the right to charge each of us for entry into parts of Jasper park.

=> Yikes! 8| It's my emphasis all over this quote too, btw; shhh! Thankfully it goes on to say... :.

Greg Fenton, a local Jasperite, has the ability to stop the privatization of the park he grew up in and loves -- but the company's lobbying effort means he will face pressure to sell out this natural wonder. Let's send him a tidal wave of support and give him the strength he needs to stand up to corporate power and save our Rocky Mountain sanctuary.

Click image above to ensure our parks stay in public hands. Yes, please sign the petition calling on Fenton to save Jasper National Park before it's too late.

(This one's for you sis'. Thanks for encouraging positive use of my ADD. Shhh!) ;)
